The launch ceremony for a series of promotional activities for coastal rowing sports in the Qingdao West Coast New Area was held on the northern shore of Tangdao Bay National Wetland Park on June 8, and the coast rowing sports base was officially unveiled.

During the event, 11 rowing teams from Qingdao presented a thrilling rowing competition. An engaging open class on coastal rowing was also held on-site. Coaches from a local rowing club introduced the features, long history, and current development status of rowing to attendees in detail, giving everyone a deeper understanding of rowing sports.

In recent years, the Qingdao West Coast New Area has been vigorously promoting the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry and has embarked on a new journey of becoming a sports powerhouse. Leveraging its unique natural conditions, the area has seized the opportunity to develop coastal rowing and is fully utilizing its coastal advantages. The area has also set up a special rowing club aimed at promoting rowing sports.
