When the tradition experiences innovation, creativity leads to good lives. The 2023 Qingdao Second Handcraft Festival and Handcraft Exhibition and Exchanges between Five Cities in Jiaodong was recently held. More than 600 craftsmen from Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang, Weihai and Rizhao showed their hand-crafted products and exclusive skills to showcase the charming outstanding traditional culture of Jiaodong.

In the handcraft festival, the Qingdao Handcraft-featured Block Construction Standard (trial implementation), the Second Batch of Villages Famous for Handcraft in Qingdao and the Qingdao intangible handcraft art-themed tourist routes have been unveiled, more than 40 parallel activities have been held, including the 2023 Qingdao Handcraft Exhibition, the Second China Weaving Art Exhibition and handcraft presentations, and the Qingdao Handcraft Industry Landscape has been released.
